PARAPET TEASE NEW UNRELEASED TRACKS AND ANNOUNCE FESTIVAL APPEARANCE

Parapet are back - officially! Despite spending recent months out of the alternative scene's scope, they've been smouldering just below the surface, waiting for the perfect conditions to crash through the boundary. With all of the recent releases among alternative bands, the climate is heating up just enough for this Falmouth-based trio to penetrate the barbed bubble of the scene, and they're sure gearing up to do so with an interminable intensity.

Their time away hasn't been wasted. In fact, they've been busy creating some of their best work to date, compiling bundles of content so vast that it'd be impossible to fit it all into one release. This is a positive, though, as the band is able to cream-skim their smoothest, most consuming music and spoil their next project with their optimum potential. Upcoming tracks such as, 'Cali Glow' and 'Slow It Down' demonstrate an obvious development in Parapet's sound - they're evolving and growing into their rosy Converse, torn blue jeans and oversized button-up shirts perfectly.

With the unofficial announcement of the previously mentioned singles, it has also been revealed this week that Parapet are going to be playing Gloucester's Underground Festival 2019, sharing the occasion with the likes of Honey Blood, Dream State, and Orchards. The trio will storm the stage on Saturday 26th October, tossing fistfuls of floral melodies into the paled breeze and absorbing every ounce of the crowd. You should really clutch the opportunity to see these guys before they blow up - who knows, you might even be in the first crowd to hear their new releases.

For now, however, you can familiarise yourself with their existing releases such as 'Expensive Blood' (2016) to catalyse the hype you can inflict on their crowds. Bounce your head along with the lulling beats and execute the songs with the same potency you would if you were the one on stage performing them. They deserve it.
