DREAM STATE ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE 'PRIMROSE' AND FALL HEADLINING TOUR

Rooted in the UK, Dream State serve to entwine the gravelled attitude of local rock music with drilling beats and charming melodics. Their thirteen-thousand strong Twitter following are nothing short of being energetically devoted to the band, evident in the instantaneous buzz following their latest double-announcement of a new single titled 'Primrose', and a headlining tour set to commence in the fall.

Following the release of their second EP, 'Recovery' in 2018, Dream State have conquered the dividers between genres in the alternative music scene. While succumbing to the traits that have proven triumphant for other bands in the community, such as searing guitar riffs and stomach-churning relatable lyricism, the post-hardcore quartet from South Wales have expanded on the norms, incorporating chunky techno-style beats and screams that lift you into a chokehold and grip you until their music concludes.

Refusing to dilute their excellence, Dream State recently announced the second single of the new era, titled 'Primrose'. In being their first release as a four-piece, 'Primrose' carried the weight of the band's reputation on its newly formed shoulders but charged into the scene regardless. This band continues to impress with their unmatched energy and calibre, relentlessly defying overdone conventions with their brutal lyrics and staggering delivery.

Despite the recent departure of bassist Danny Rayer, Dream State remain on the rise, announcing a headlining tour that is set to commence at the end of the year. The members of the band alone (CJ Gilpin, Aled Evans, Rhys Wilcox and Jamie Lee) emanate an unextinguished verve that will catapult them even further up the fiery rungs of the alternative scene's ladder.  The higher capacity venues will only act as catalysts for the band's energy, as they thrive on the audience's reciprocated buoyancy - and neither party shows any indication of waning in the near future.

You can catch the band on their most monumental tour to date at the end of this year. Get tickets from www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.livenation.co.uk
